Join our friendly team as a Housekeeping Assistant at Rockhampton Private Hospital

The Opportunity

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for providing the highest standards of cleanliness to all areas of the hospital as directed. This will involve:

- Ensure that patient rooms and common areas within the hospital are cleaned to a high standard and well maintained
- Make patient beds and distribute linen
- Ensuring all equipment is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas.
- Work in a friendly and supportive manner within a team
- Maintain communication networks with nursing staff & peers to achieve common goals

About You

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a good work ethic that includes punctuality, integrity, respect for others and a commitment to professional practice.

In addition, you will hold the following skills and experience:

- Minimum of two (2) years in a cleaning/housekeeping role highly regarded.
- Experience in a healthcare/hospital setting will be highly regarded.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team structure and independently as required.
- Acting in a professional manner at all times when dealing with customers and staff.
- A 'can do' attitude with a friendly disposition.

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $26.50 + casual loading + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances
