We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our Mortuary and Bereavement team at Northampton General Hospital as an Anatomical Pathology Technologist (APT). Ideally, the successful candidate will hold the Level 4 RSPH qualification and be capable of working at a senior APT level. However, we also welcome applications from candidates with a Level 3 RSPH qualification, as well as those interested in trainee APT positions. Main duties of the job The role requires proficiency in the use of mortuary and post-mortem equipment, strong dissection skills, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures. You will be responsible for carrying out Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities, performing routine mortuary and post-mortem tasks, and utilizing the department's computer systems. This is a key role contributing to the delivery of a high-quality Mortuary and Post Mortem Service.
