We are on the lookout for an experienced Production Area Leader to join our Afternoon Shift team in Morley, WA.

About the role:

As a Production Area Leader, you will play a key role in directing and coordinating the daily operations of our production team. You will be responsible for:

- Leading and mentoring team members to achieve production targets and quality standards.
- Overseeing preparation, production, and packing processes, including machine start-up, shutdown, and changeovers.
- Monitoring KPIs such as production efficiency, yield, quality, and waste.
- Ensuring adherence to safe work practices and maintaining a positive team culture.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Despatch and Warehouse.
- Supporting rostering, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About you:

You are a confident and proactive leader with strong technical and people management skills. You will bring:

- Previous supervisory or team leader experience, ideally in food manufacturing.
- Technical knowledge to operate machinery, troubleshoot, and perform small repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills.
- Basic computer literacy, including MS Excel.
