Overview

Join our caring and dynamic team at Banana Moon Day Nurseries as a Nursery Bank Staff member In this flexible role, you'll support our nurseries when needed, ensuring every child receives top-quality care and attention.

Responsibilities

- Assisting in various rooms, adapting to the needs of each group as required.
- Engaging with children through play and activities, supporting their emotional and educational development.
- Helping with mealtimes and ensuring children are safe and comfortable.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and the nursery team.
- Maintaining a clean and organized environment in line with health and safety procedures.
- Following and promoting nursery policies and procedures.

This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexibility and the opportunity to gain experience in an energetic, caring environment.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Experience working with young children is preferable but not mandatory.
- Positive, flexible approach with a team-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with children.
- Willing to cover various shifts and work on an ad-hoc basis.
- Must be willing to complete a DBS check.
- Basic knowledge of early years development is an advantage.
