We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to join the Service team in Brisbane. As an Automation Technician our ideal candidate will have a keen interest for continuous learning and producing safe, reliable and maintainable, PLC and Motion control systems to meet client's requirements within the critical infrastructure sector.

This is a permanent full-time role for an A grade electrician. You will be experienced in troubleshooting using online PLC and SCADA tools across some of the major platforms especially Siemens and Schneider.

Key responsibilities:

- Field service and breakdown support for a range of customers over varying industries.
- Preventative, corrective and recommended maintenance and documentation.
- Electrical installation works.
- Assistance with commissioning of projects.
- On the job timekeeping and invoicing.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

- A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
- Must have industrial electrical experience.
- Must have experience with fault finding PLC/SCADA/HMI Systems.
- Electrical installation and commissioning experience.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability and desire to participate in a rotating after hours on-call roster.

- PLC programming (especially in Siemens and Schneider) HMI /SCADA Programming (especially Ignition or Geo)
- Industrial Ethernet Networking
- Instrumentation, Hazardous Area, Working at Heights and Confined Space training all highly desirable

- Australian drivers licence and A-Grade Electrical Licence. ( Essential)
- Must have the right to work in Australia. ( Essential)
- Must be able to obtain a NV1 clearance. (Essential)
