About the Role
The role will be based at our Area C site in the Pilbara, on an 2/2 rotating days and night shift, fly in - fly out roster from Perth.
Our MEM department focuses on the below equipment. You will have the opportunity to select your area of expertise in your application:
- Fieldequipment: (Drills and Excavators) Epiroc drills D65, PV271. Excavators Liebherr 9150, 9400, R996B and 9600
- Ancillaryequipment: mostly CAT (Wheel Loaders, Track Dozers, Graders, Wheel Dozers, Scraper) Komatsu WA1200, WE1850, Grader 18 and 24, Dozers D10 and D11, various Smaller loaders.
- LV / Auxiliary: Highway Trucks, Service Trucks, MPU's which include , Scania, Iveco, Lighting Plants, Generators, Tyre Handlers, Forklifts from 3 Ton – 21Ton, Light Vehicles including Toyota Hilux, Prado and Land Cruiser
In your role your primary duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Servicing, repairs, inspections, planned and breakdown maintenance on variety of equipment including Komatsu haul trucks, Caterpillar ancillary equipment, Liebherr and Atlas Copco
- Initiating updates to work procedures to ensure they are accurate and relevant to equipment
- Providing input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and assist in the implementing of the new initiatives in a constructive way
- Committed to a focus on safety, achievement, collaboratingand team engagement in all aspects of work
About You
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- Australian Recognised Heavy Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications
- Komatsu haul trucks, Caterpillar Trucks and Ancillary equipment, Liebherr and Atlas Copco experience highly desirable
- Demonstrated diagnostics and breakdown experience with ideally both Loaders, Trucks & Ancillary equipment
- Dogging, Rigging and Forklift Licenses are desirable
- A commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail and procedure
- Computer literacy and/or experience in 1SAP
- Safety first mentality
