Duration of the training program: From 2/2/26 up to 28/1/29
Term of the Contract: 3 Years in line with clause 52 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement
At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3 year contract.
About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registrar to join our dynamic team, where you’ll play a central role in the care and management of patients across a variety of clinical settings. In this role, you’ll work closely with a collaborative group of Consultants, Registrars, Visiting Specialists, Nurses and Allied Health professionals to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care. Your clinical responsibilities will be broad and rewarding, offering hands‑on experience in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
This role offers a unique opportunity to travel between campuses, as well as to residential aged care facilities and patients’ homes—bringing healthcare directly to those who need it most. As a valued member of the department, you’ll also actively participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing education and training efforts within the team. - Registered Medical Practitioner with AHPRA and relevant qualifications
- Strong communicator with empathy and a patient‑first mindset
- Skilled in clinical decision‑making, teamwork, and ward‑based procedures
- Knowledgeable in contemporary medical practices and safety principles
