Periscope Café is a locally owned café located at Port Geographe Marina near Busselton WA. We focus on fresh, homemade food, local produce, great coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere where our customers can eat, drink, and unwind. We pride ourselves on quality and consistency, and we’re looking for a skilled cook to join our team.
The Role
We are seeking a full-time Cook to prepare and deliver high-quality meals for our café customers. This role is hands‑on in the kitchen and requires someone who can work in a fast‑paced environment with a commitment to excellent food preparation and presentation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of café-style meals to a high standard
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Manage stock rotation and assist with ordering supplies
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
- Work collaboratively with the café team to ensure smooth serviceAssist in menu planning and contribute ideas for seasonal specials
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure
- Available to work Wednesday to Sunday (full‑time hours across these days)
