About the role

Bower's Heavy Haulage are looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at the Singleton branch.

This is a full-time position with remuneration based on your qualifications, experience and attitude. You'll work a standard 40-hour week with overtime opportunities and flexible work hours available. We have a well-established workshop with all equipment required to do the job.

The applicant would preferably have experience working on Kenworth, Western Star and Volvo trucks and a variety of low loaders and semi trailers.

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Mechanical diagnosis
2. Repairs and maintenance
3. Servicing including A, B and C services for our NHVAS Accreditation

Skills and Experience Required

1. Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Trade Qualified
2. Great communication, organisational and self-management skills
3. Previous experience in a similar position
4. Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
5. Willingness to work together as a team and follow directives
