Job Description

We are seeking a compassionateOccupational Therapistto join our teamon afull-timebasis.

This community position is based at our Scarborough hub and will see you support our home care consumers to improve their independence, social participation and engagement in meaningful occupations.Your well-honed communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills are easily demonstrated when you work in an inter-disciplinary team, as well as when making meaningful connections with aged care clients.

Key responsibilities include:

- OT assessment and intervention across our TCP, HCP and CHSP programs;

- Preparatory methods to support daily occupational performance;

- Education and training, including clients, staff and multidisciplinary teams;

- Responding to new referrals and changing needs of clients;

Desired Skills and Experience

Now... to ensure our consumers can get to work with you, it is essential you hold:

- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy;

- AHPRA registration;

- Membership with OT Australia or WA Assoc. of Occupational Therapy (or be willing to obtain);

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)and

- Full working rights in Australia.

While we do encourage Covid vaccination of our employees, this is not a requirement.
