About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a StoreManager to lead one of our wholesale food branches. In this role, you’ll be accountable for the safe and profitable operation of the branch, delivering on financial targets, sales growth, and exceptional DIFOT service levels. You’ll also be the custodian of customer service excellence, leading and developing your team to ensure we deliver the best outcomes for our customers, partners, and communities.
In this Role
- Drive sales growth and deliver on financial targets, budgets, and efficiencies.
- Champion a safe, engaged workplace and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Lead and inspire large teams, including Operations Managers, Customer Service Managers, Stock Controllers, and Award Team Members.
- Develop succession planning, coaching, and career development for your team.
- Build strong partnerships with customers, suppliers, and 3PL/4PL providers to ensure DIFOT excellence.
- Ensure seamless operational standards, including promotional execution and inventory management.
- Negotiate and manage EA agreements, workforce planning, and transport tenders.
You’re Likely a Match If
- Strong leadership experience managing large, diverse teams.
- Experience in P&L ownership, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proven background working with union EA negotiations.
- Experience with 3PL and 4PL transport providers, and warehousing operations (WMS, FMCG, or retail preferred).
- Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop talent.
- Knowledge of WHS, COR, HACCP, food safety, and environmental compliance.
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
