Overview

An Epic Icon needs an Epic Team Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Sous Chef to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT, which is 20 minutes from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. We are seeking a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery Qualified Sous Chef who is highly skilled and experienced in 5‑star restaurant operations to lead our Kitchen. In this role, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and profitability, and providing excellent products and services to our guests while driving sustainable and profitable outlets. You will also help create and maintain training programs to ensure staff have the necessary skills to perform effectively and uphold high culinary standards.

Key Duties

- Assist the senior chefs with menu planning, inventory control, scheduling, and ordering of kitchen supplies within the Pastry Kitchen and Bakery.

- Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

- Undertake all kitchen and service duties including cleaning, food preparation, cookery, and guest service.

- Assist chefs with all sections of the kitchen as required by the Head Chef.
