Overview

Outside of School Hours Care / Childcare - Coordinator (Director of Service) – Permanent, full-time opportunity with TeamKids. Flexible to work from home for admin hours between service times; supported by a Mentor and Regional Manager.

TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) across Australia, focused on exciting, engaging, and entertaining children before school, after school, and during school holidays.

Responsibilities

- Lead a team to create a safe, fun, and compliant program; plan engaging activities; supervise children; and build strong relationships with the school and community while managing the service.
- Build a fantastic relationship with the school and be an active member within the school and local community.
- Provide creative freedom to plan and deliver enriching experiences daily.
- Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
- Lead and roster a passionate team of educators; manage service compliance and medical documentation.
- Work across split shifts Monday to Friday: BSC 7:00am–9:00am; ASC 1:45pm–6:00pm; Admin hours 7.
- Collaborate with on-site staffing structure including Program Manager, Director of Service, Child Wellbeing and Inclusion Officer, Second in Charge, and educators.

The Successful Candidate

- Natural leader with a passion for teaching children; thrives in a fast-paced environment; confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals; strong problem-solving and can-do attitude; passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children; energetic, enthusiastic, and loves to have fun.
