Eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
Family Medicine Certification of the College of Family Physicians (or equivalent).
Experienced primary care providers capable of supporting a broad range of patient complexities and urgent care services.

- Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License
- Full Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Certification
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership
Island Health has exciting opportunities for Family Practitioners at this centre, which features a large group of primary care providers working in a team-based care model.
Join a team of primary care providers and allied health staff to deliver integrated, team-based care to patients.
This is a turn-key operation located in North Quadra, Victoria BC, offering a new clinic with no overhead costs.

Island Health supports primary care providers in delivering innovative services at the forefront of primary care improvement in BC. Providers will have opportunities to utilize clinic data to enhance patient care.
There is a requirement to establish a patient panel and participate in urgent care. As the most responsible primary care provider, after-hours care is included, with participation in an after-hours call group sharing coverage with other providers.
Start date: As soon as possible (flexible)
Additional information includes:
- Longitudinal/Urgent Care Position: 0.5 to 1.0 FTE
- Urgent Care Only Position: Minimum 2 shifts per month
