Flinders Christian Community College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Diploma Qualified Wrap around Kinder Carer (WAKC) to join our team at our Mt Martha campus. This is a casual position and a wonderful opportunity for someone committed to Christian education who can provide a safe, engaging, and fun space for our littlest learners before and after Kinder.

The WAKC’s role is to assist the Coordinator in leading the day-to-day program. The WAKC works directly with children, with some elements of administration, planning, and monitoring the provision of the WAKC service as directed by management.

We offer flexible operational hours from Monday to Friday, with morning sessions from 6:45 am to 9:15 am and afternoon sessions from 2:45 pm to 5:45 pm. We are seeking candidates available during any or all of these time slots.

Kinder@Flinders aims to provide authentic and engaging learning opportunities for three and four-year-old children to explore, investigate, and learn about themselves and their world. Children will be encouraged to develop investigative, inquiry-based skills, curiosity, and wonder through projects inspired by the Reggio Emilia Philosophy.

Flinders Christian Community College is a co-educational, non-denominational College with campuses at Tyabb, Mt Martha, and Carrum Downs, offering education from K–12. The college seeks to achieve long-term educational outcomes related to student understanding and dispositions for lifelong learning.
