LD18175 - Field Assistant – 14:14 Roster X 2

Our client, a well-established WA gold producer, is seeking motivated Field Assistants to join their geological team on a contract basis.
This role offers a 14 days on / 14 days off roster, giving you excellent work-life balance while gaining hands-on exposure to exploration and mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Previous exploration or mining experience preferred.
- Diamond core and RC sampling experience highly regarded.
- Strong safety focus and ability to work effectively in a small team.
- High-risk licences (e.g. forklift/loader) and Senior First Aid desirable.
Position Duties
- Assist with coreyard operations: mark-up, orientation, photography, sampling, recoveries, and QAQC procedures.
- Conduct RC and diamond chip sampling, collection, washing, and storage.
- Support drill site preparation, rehabilitation, and general field duties.
- Manage sample dispatch, data entry, and stock control.
- Contribute to camp maintenance and field safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role for a gold miner or exploration company.
- Previous exploration or mining experience preferred.
- Diamond core and RC sampling experience highly regarded.
- Strong safety focus and ability to work effectively in a small team.
- High-risk licences (e.g. forklift/loader) and Senior First Aid desirable.
