If so, we want you to join our team We are actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehousing & Logistics Manager to drive excellence in our supply chain operations.

About Your Role:

Reporting to the Planning & Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. Your primary focus will be to streamline operations, improve processes, and lead a diverse team to meet and exceed business objectives. This role will be offered on a full-time permanent basis, with up to 20 direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Warehouse Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient workflows and compliance with safety regulations.
- Inventory Control: Maintain optimal inventory levels through accurate stock management and regular audits.
- Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate transportation of goods, manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of warehouse staff, promoting a culture of inclusion and collaboration.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence.

About You:

- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics management.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in similar role, especially in the Rail industry or other safety-critical environments (automotive, defence, avionics, mining or heavy industry).
- Software Utilisation: Proficiency using software tools like MS Office (Word, Excel), warehouse management software and databases. SAP Warehouse Management module experience essential.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills: Focus on promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Commitment to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Adopting New Technologies: Demonstrated willingness to embrace new technologies, methods, and systems.
- Independent Work and Multi-tasking: Proven ability to independently organize and prioritise tasks, manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.
