About Our Client
Our client is a leading provider of landscaping, horticulture, and irrigation services across Perth. With multiple sites in both NOR and SOR locations, they are committed to delivering safe, sustainable, and high-quality outdoor environments for councils, schools, hospitals, and public spaces.
About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Irrigation Fitters to join our client maintenance teams across Perth. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and installation of commercial irrigation systems while working across various parks and open spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and modifications of irrigation systems
- Inspect and test commercial irrigation systems
- Program irrigation controllers to meet operational requirements
- Operate small plant and equipment safely
- Maintain tools, equipment, and machinery
- Liaise with supervisors, team members, and respond to public enquiries
- Report field conditions that may pose risks to public or sporting users
- Share knowledge and mentor others when required
- Ensure compliance with all WHS standards, policies, and procedures
Skills & Experience
- Experience in commercial irrigation system operation and maintenance
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team
- C Class Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Recent National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labour
- Knowledge of WHS practices, including hazard identification
- First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- Knowledge of bore, pump, and motor systems (desirable)
