Electrical Shut Down Electricians

Location: KARARA

Pay rate: $72.00 per day

Hours per day: 11.5 hours paid per day

Job length: 8:6 roster until January (could go longer). Wednesdays to Thursdays – start date 12th November

Employment type: FIFO or DIDO for Midwest applicants

Accommodation: Mine site accommodation

Scope of works

Fixed Plant Maintenance – Carry out ongoing preventative maintenance and breakdown support across the whole plant and associated infrastructure.

Primary duties include:

- Routine inspection, testing, and servicing of all motors, drives, and movable components.

- Preventative maintenance on fixed plant electrical systems, filters, and control equipment.

- Regular checks and maintenance on lanyards, switches, and safety interlocks.

- Breakdown response and repairs as required to maintain operational continuity.

Required tickets

- Current WA Electrical License

- C class driver’s license

- White Card

- Working at Heights & Confined space

- CPR/LVR

- HV Switching Ticket Preferred

- HRW Licence required (must have EWP)

- Construction White Card

- Ability to pass a medical
