With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2025.

The Wantirna South Campus is seeking a part-time Secondary Drama Teacher and Coordinator to commence in January 2026. This is a fixed term (Parental Leave Replacement) contract until the end of Term 4, 2026. This role is currently offered at 0.6 FTE, with the possibility of additional classes or responsibilities for candidates seeking a larger load.

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Drama Teacher to inspire students in Year 7 to 12 and who will bring energy, innovation and a love of performance to the classroom. Whilst having an active teaching role, this role will also adopt the administrative and leadership responsibilities as the Drama Coordinator, being responsible for the oversight and development of the Secondary Drama Program.

The successful applicant must:

- Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Be able to teach Drama
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work well in a Team
- Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
- Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
- Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities.
- Have high level communication and interpersonal skills.
