Job Description

THE ROLE:

The Procurement Specialist is a key role ensuring data integrity and management of the product lifecycle.

Reporting to the General Manager Analytics & Planning, the Procurement Specialist will be the key interface between various stakeholders across the business both in Australia and New Zealand. They will ensure data integrity that will enable accurate and effective reporting and purchasing of products.

THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for:

- Data integrity and through‑life‑management of all products.

- Ensure data is in a consistent format and will aid analysis to inform decisions for operations, planning and projects.

- Ensure compliance with ADA data management policy and procedures.

- Contribute to and plan for Data cleansing.

- Ensuring the setup of all products are set up correctly to ensure items can be ordered by the appropriate teams. This includes creating & maintaining purchase trade agreements, Bill of Materials, production routes and external supplier information.

- Ensuring standard costs are created and maintained for all items.

- Contribute to an environment that is inclusive, supportive, and collaborative.

- Create a climate within the business which encourages and supports openness, persistence, and genuine debate around critical issues.

- Work constructively and positively with the key business stakeholders

Desired Skills and Experience

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- 3 years + proven experience with D365 or similar ERP system

- Experienced in Procurement and end to end supply chain processes

- Excellent attention to detail

- Intermediate to advanced Excel

- Understanding of IT and ERP systems Tact, sensitivity, and diplomacy; ability to think on feet and act proactively with discretion

- Commitment to personal learning, development, and improvement in pursuit of own performance objectives and those of the team and organisation

- A high level of motivation and commitment to the ADA values

- Act in a respectful manner

- Show integrity and honesty

- Maintains professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive issues

- Recovers quickly from setbacks and refocuses on the task at hand

- Methodical and diligent with outstanding time management skills
