About the Role

An exciting opportunity awaits an enthusiastic and committed Music Teacher to join our vibrant School community commencing Term 1, 2026. This is a full‑time, ongoing role.

In this key position, reporting to the Head of Music, the successful candidate will inspire students' creativity and confidence through dynamic, engaging lessons that foster technical skill development, musical literacy, and a genuine appreciation for music in all its forms.

To Be Successful

To be successful in this opportunity you will require:

- Current VIT Registration.

- Previous experience teaching Music.

- A current knowledge of Australian Curriculum imperatives as they impact on Music.

- Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and willingness to embrace the St Catherine’s Teaching for Thinking culture.

- Well‑developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes.

- An active supporter of and contributor to a collegial work environment.

- Demonstrated innovative use of ICT to enrich learning.

- Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the School at all times.
