A Senior Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor delivers high quality, knowledgeable service to our retail and wholesale clients, acts as a role model to co-workers and has the skills and ability to perform at a high level in every aspect of our retail environment. You are agile and flexible, able to pivot activities as required to bring the highest value to the organization. You are able to switch gears and pivot as needed to manage multiple clients effectively, and/or offer more individualized service when it's slow and there is more time to interact with each client. You also utilize downtime and slow moments in an effective manner to keep the store tidy, clean and replenished, and/or to mentor and coach team members.
You have excellent attention to detail, combined with efficiency and effectiveness. You are quick and effective at maintaining displays, merchandising, re-stock, receiving inventory transfers, and at keeping the store tidy, clean and visually appealing. You are a quick learner who is responsive to feedback, demonstrates self-awareness and accountability, and has the desire and ability to grow, develop and deepen skills on an ongoing basis. You are able to work independently, and equally well as part of a team.

A beautiful selection of high quality teapots, cups and tea accessories curated by our owner and Tea Master decorate our shop, and are available for purchase. We love educating and empowering our clients to discover the simple yet powerful benefits of our products, and easy antidotes to the stress of everyday life. We’re leaders in using organic ingredients in our products and don’t use synthetic chemicals, artificial flavours, dyes or any hidden additives. We’re also leaders in sustainability and eco-friendly practices are at the heart of everything we do.
Qualifications:
past experience in retail sales, with a proven track record of excellence in sales, and in being able to create high quality client interactions
past experience selling skincare, bodycare, beauty products, aromatherapy, cosmetics, tea and/or wellness products
past experience selling in a brand based way. Able to effectively communicate the features and benefits of a brand, and the uniqueness of its products, utilising brand based language, methods and scripts.
Your starting wage offer varies depending on your skills and abilities. Your wage can also move up quickly if you are self-motivated to learn and grow your sales skills and abilities.
Position Requirements:
You'll be on the move for your entire shift. This position requiring standing and use of hands and arms. Frequently required to use hand and finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, to fill tea into containers for clients, use a computer and point of sale system, receive inventory transfers and/or pack orders for clients.
Must be able to lift up to 30lbs and frequently bend and twist from the waist.
Must be able to go up and down stairs, and use a stepladder or ladder.
Must be able to use eco-friendly cleaning products.
Regularly required to handle hot beverages.
Hours of Operation:
We are currently open Wednesday through Saturday from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm, and on Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm. Please include information in your application about what days and times of the week you are available.
