We're seeking a skilled Support Specialist to deliver tailored support to children, young people, families, foster and kinship carers, and staff. This is a unique opportunity to influence lives through trauma-informed, culturally inclusive care and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and evaluate educational and therapeutic programs

- Provide direct support, case management, and after-hours assistance

- Collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities

- Guide and train staff to enhance service delivery

- Build strong networks with community partners and stakeholders

What You'll Bring

Essential

- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences or 5+ years equivalent experience

- Applied knowledge of child protection and trauma frameworks

- Experience supporting children and families with complex needs

- Proven ability to deliver culturally inclusive practicesValid driver's licence and ability to obtain required checks (Blue Card, Police Check, LCS screening)

Desirable

- Understanding of the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012

- Experience in service quality improvement
