We're on the lookout for experienced Breakfast Chefs who are passionate about crafting delicious, high-quality breakfasts and pastries to fuel our residents for the day ahead.

You don’t need previous FIFO experience – but bulk cooking experience, the ability to work independently, and strong time management skills are essential.

The Role

- Breakfast & Pastry Experience

- Buffet style bulk cooking experience

- Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs, Kitchen Utilities and Dining Room attendants

- Ensure OH&S compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures

- Ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to the minimum

- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness inaccordance with Compass standards

The Person

- Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery

- Bulk Catering Experience

- Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations

- Experience with hygienic work practices and appropriate HACCP guidelines

- Able to pass Pre-Employment Medicals

- National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
