Overview

Ready to lead from the front? Newnham hotel is on the hunt for a new Assistant Venue Manager to join our experienced team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you.

We’re known for great food, cold drinks, and a warm, welcoming vibe. Now we need a hands-on leader who can help drive service, support the crew, and keep things running smoothly.

Responsibilities

- Lead from the front as a hands-on venue manager and drive service excellence.
- Support the crew to ensure smooth daily operations and high presentation standards.

Qualifications

- Proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue with exceptional customer service and presentation skills.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
- Capacity to work in a team environment while leading from the front.
- Experience in developing and executing operational procedures.
- Knowledge of TAB and wagering.
- Ability to train and develop staff to ensure a consistently amazing customer experience.
- Current RSA, RSG, RMLV & Approved Managers license.
- CLO – Desirable but not necessary.
