- This is a key technical role within our Operations Team.

- The position is full-time – Canberra-based.

We are seeking a Tester to join our Canberra team to ensure the integrity of software solutions under development. Reporting to the Test Manager, you will be responsible for testing our solutions with the goal of providing assurance that risks are accurately quantified and addressed.

Your key Responsibilities

- Participate in workshops to provide testing inputs, assess effort, understand requirements, write test cases, execute tests, and document results.
- Develop test cases and procedures to verify system features are correctly implemented.
- Execute tests according to plans, including in simulated environments and scenarios.
- Monitor defects and retest as needed.
- Produce reports on test progress, results, and relevant information.
- Contribute to planning, review, and retrospective meetings.

The skills and experience we are looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Software Tester, with a solid understanding of testing methodologies.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow test plans meticulously.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and isolate defects effectively.

Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Relevant certifications such as ISTQB are desirable.
