Overview

A leading technology services provider is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their Melbourne-based team. This role offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting end users and optimising digital workplace solutions across a diverse organisation.

What you'll do

As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation’s digital infrastructure by providing expert assistance for end user devices and applications.

- Provide both onsite and remote support for end user devices and applications using advanced remote management tools (Intune) to ensure seamless operations.

- Manage and deploy Standard Operating Environment (SOE) images for user devices via Intune, ensuring consistency and reliability across the organisation.

- Package and deploy applications efficiently using Intune, maintaining up-to-date software environments for all users.

- Oversee desktop and mobile device management through Intune, addressing issues promptly to minimise downtime.

- Maintain end user compute-related Group Policy Objects within supported environments, ensuring compliance with organisational standards.

What you bring

Your proven experience as an IT Support Engineer will be evident through your ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while remaining responsive under pressure. You bring deep technical expertise in supporting end user devices using Intune as well as proficiency in asset management processes.

- Proven track record of four or more years supporting end user devices and applications across varied technical landscapes.

- Comprehensive understanding of Windows Operating Systems, MS Office Suite, Exchange Online/O365, AV management tools, Windows desktop products, Mobile Device Management platforms such as SCCM/Intune.

- Familiarity with service desk best practices coupled with excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to influence stakeholders across the organisation.

- Experience utilising PowerShell scripting for automation tasks alongside Active Directory user management expertise.
