Join the Exact team as an experienced Project Manager, and form a key part of delivering road construction, civil, water infrastructure, agricultural and mining projects in the remote Northern Territory.

Reporting to Senior Management, you will be responsible for driving project success, taking lead of day-to-day operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, within budget and on schedule.

The successful candidate would be expected to work a FIFO roster, doing 14 days on, 7 days off.

Role responsibilities include:

1. Leading & maintaining a strong safety culture
2. Driving operational efficiency & innovation
3. Procurement as per project requirements
4. Timely execution of project activities
5. Strong understanding and compliance with contractual & KPI requirements
6. Effective cost control of project operations
7. Liaising with departments to effectively manage work groups
8. Driving performance, leading from the front and providing feedback to employees
9. Client management

The successful candidate will have:

1. Current drivers licence (essential)
2. Experience in a similar role, with extensive earthworks experience (essential)
3. Cert IV or Diploma in Management (or equivalent)
4. S1, S2, S3 qualification (desirable)
5. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office & MS Project
6. Effective planning, time management and prioritisation skills
7. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage others
8. Excellent communication skills
