This position is located in: Morley

We’re now looking for a skilled IT Systems Administrator to take ownership of our core infrastructure and ensure our IT environment remains secure, efficient and future-ready. This is a full-time position, based at our Morley site.

About the role:

Reporting to the Group IT Manager, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our systems running smoothly - from servers and firewalls to backups and patching. You’ll be the go-to for Level 2 support, while also contributing to IT improvement initiatives that support security, automation, and modernisation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Administering Windows Server environments and networking equipment
- Monitoring system health, uptime, and backup performance
- Managing security, patching, identity and access controls (Intune, Entra ID, etc.)
- Acting as escalation point for Level 2 incidents
- Supporting disaster recovery planning and testing
- Participating in IT projects and process improvements
- Documenting system changes and configurations clearly and consistently

About you:

You’re a technically strong systems administrator with a proactive mindset and a passion for getting things done right. You care about uptime, you troubleshoot methodically, and you know that solid documentation and strong security are just as important as clever fixes.

To be successful, you’ll bring:

- Hands-on experience managing Windows Servers and networking infrastructure
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Entra ID and Exchange Online
- Solid scripting skills in PowerShell for automating tasks
- Experience in implementing and testing backup/DR solutions
- A strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and endpoint protection
- The ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- A current valid driver/'s licence
