A leading Federal Government agency is seeking experienced Program Manager to join a highly specialised team responsible for leading and coordinating the end-to-end deliver of several cross-functional projects. The successful Program Manager will translate the programs goals & vision to a program roadmap, backlog, and delivery schedule that supports the program to deliver on its intended benefits. The Program Manager will be offered a 12-month contract + 2 x 12 month extension, open to ACT, NSW, QLD, VIC, WA.

The successful Program Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Communicate the program vision, goals, roadmap, and ensure alignment and buy-in from key stakeholders
- Establish and maintain several project backlogs, prioritise and plan the program increments and iterations with project stakeholders
- Facilitate reporting and proactively monitor health metrics and identify & take corrective action to keep committed government milestones on track
- Apply Agile principles and practices to the assigned projects

The successful Program Manager will have experience in the following:

- Minimum 5 years' experience managing cross functional projects with a focus on utilizing Agile methodologies
- Extensive experience in deliver and apply Agile methodologies
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the integrity challenges and opportunities and the ability to translate them into actionable and measurable program goals and outcomes
- Experience delivering with cross functional teams across business areas
