Responsibilities

- Draft Surveys / Load Master / Trimming Surveys

- Cargo Hold Inspections

- Hold Inspection Grain (AO – Authorised Officer accreditation) (Advantage)

- Industry Authorised Officer - B.V.I. 3001 (Export inspections of empty bulk vessels) (Advantage)

- Bunker and Condition Surveys

- General Cargo and Marine Surveys

- Internal Audits

Pre-requisites

- Master Class 1 / Class 2 (Master or mate)

- Sailing Experience on Ocean going vessel on senior ranks for a minimum of 1-3 years.

- Diploma in Marine Surveying or any related qualification

- Previous Marine Surveying experience

- Working rights in Australia

- MSIC or ability to obtain one

- Medically fit

- Full Australian Driver's License
