- Protect furniture, flooring, and fixtures using drop cloths, masking tape, and plastic sheeting to prevent damage or mess.

Paint Application & Finishing

- A minimum of AQF Certificate III or IV in Painting and Decorating, including at least two years of practical, on-the-job experience.
- Proven experience in a similar painting role, with a strong understanding of surface preparation, paint application, and finishing techniques.
- Current driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle for travel to various job sites.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential; must consistently arrive on time and ready to work.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Relevant trade qualifications or a demonstrated skillset aligned with the responsibilities of the role.
- Motivated, confident, and enthusiastic with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant job site in line with workplace health and safety standards.
- Familiarity with a range of tools, materials, and equipment used in painting, including brush, roller, and spray techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret job plans, measurements, and specifications accurately.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
- Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements, weather conditions, and client expectations.

Priority will be given to candidates who demonstrate a keen eye for detail, a commitment to craftsmanship, and the ability to uphold high standards of quality and safety on every job site.
