Task & responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications

- Lay out and install electrical systems and components

- Connect, test, and commission wiring and switchboards

- Diagnose and repair electrical faults and defective parts

- Connect systems to power supplies and ensure compliance

- Install and commission solar photovoltaic (PV) systems

- Maintain strong communication and trust with clients

Qualification & experience

- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or higher)

- Minimum 2 years of full-time electrical experience

- Current Driver’s Licence

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals

- CEC Solar Accreditation (highly regarded but not essential)

- Proven experience with fault finding and rectification
