Dockhand / Forklift Driver – Mildura Region

Chandler Macleod is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Dockhand / Forklift Driver to join our client’s team in the Mildura Region. This part-time, casual role is ideal for someone looking for consistent morning shifts and the chance to grow in a supportive, safety-first environment.

While the primary focus is on forklift operation and dockhand duties, applicants holding a valid MR Truck Licence will have the opportunity to take on occasional driving tasks—offering greater variety and potential for additional hours.

Shift Details

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shifts, minimum 4 hours per day
- Possibility of working up to 8 hours depending on daily requirements
- Opportunities for extra hours with MR driving

Key Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts safely to load and unload parcels
- Perform manual handling and freight sorting tasks
- Support smooth and efficient dock operations
- Conduct safety checks and report equipment issues
- Occasionally assist with MR truck deliveries
- Adhere to safety protocols, road regulations, and company policies

About You

- Valid Forklift Licence (essential)
- Valid MR Truck Licence (required for driving tasks)
- Physically fit for manual handling and fast-paced work
- Must be able to pass a National Police Check
- Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol (D&A) test
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
