Boilermaker – Blast Furnace 6 Reline Project | Port Kembla Steelworks

Are you a Boilermaker who can handle the heat? We need you for one of Australia’s biggest industrial relines—apply now and help us keep the furnace burning

What You’ll Do

- Perform FCAW and MMAW welding in all positions
- Complete pre-employment and site-based welder qualification tests (AS/NZS ISO 9606.1)
- Weld to AS/NZS 1554.1 SP standard, with NDT
- Interpret and apply weld procedures and manufacturing drawings
- Mobilise/demobilise work fronts on site
- Meet and exceed visual acceptance criteria for production welding

What You’ll Need

- Australian Recognised Trade Qualification
- Recent experience as a Boilermaker
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Working at Heights and Confined Space (desirable)
- Ability to pass FCAW & MMAW site weld tests (PF, PE positions)
