
Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Your key responsibilities as a senior contributor to the hardware design team are:
Professionally engage in electronic project design and development activities, including concept, feasibility, schematic capture, PCB artwork, verification, testing, and manufacturing.
Act as a product lead and subject matter expert, guiding clients and project teams.
Contribute to the development of the hardware team by enhancing your own skills and mentoring junior colleagues.
Ensure that quality standards are met in accordance with the company’s quality management system.
Estimate current and future work effectively for the hardware team.
Conduct technical reviews of hardware designs and documentation.
Serve as the technical contact for clients and project managers regarding electronics design matters.
Contribute to the improvement of hardware design processes, procedures, systems, and documentation.
The following skills and experience are required for this role:
Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid working visa.
Hold a relevant degree from a reputable university (e.g., Bachelor of Electronics Engineering).
Have at least 7 years of professional experience as an electronics design engineer.
Be registered as a professional engineer in Victoria (if based in Victoria).
Be competent in designing analog and digital electronics.
Have experience in designing electronic products from concept to manufacture.
Be proficient in Altium schematic capture and PCB layout.
Possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Be capable of working independently and collaboratively.
