Secondary English/TAS Teacher - Patrician Brothers' College Blacktown

The Opportunity

Patrician Brothers’ College, Blacktown is seeking a passionate and dedicated secondary teacher qualified to teach both English and Technology & Applied Studies (TAS). This is a full‑time, permanent position commencing in Term 1, 2026.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following criteria

- Qualifications and ability to teach English/TAS in a secondary school in accordance with NESA requirements.

- Dynamic and exemplary classroom practitioner.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative.

- Ability to work effectively with an established team of successful practitioners.

- Work effectively with colleagues in implementing the aims and practices of the faculty and College, and be willing to contribute to its academic, pastoral, spiritual and co‑curricular life.

- A commitment to the Patrician and Catholic ethos of the College.

Qualifications and accreditations

- Working with Children Check clearance.

- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).

- Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4‑year degree, or 75% complete).
