General Practitioner - Palmerston, Darwin (DPA/MM2)

The Practice

- Established accredited GP practice

- Working hours are based on 8 am - 4.30 pm week days, this is very flexible

- Patient & staff parking is available

- Choose your appointment times, you have full clinical independence

The Opportunity

- You/'ll be supported with full nursing coverage

- Allied Health support is available

- Skin Cancer, minor procedures, women/'s health, and chronic disease management GP sub-specialties are in demand

- You will earn $150/ hour, or 65-70% of billings, whichever is higher

- Likely earnings $250,000-$450,000 before tax each year

Duties

- Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures

- Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients/' physical and mental health

- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments

- Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases

- Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention

- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues

Location

DPA/MM2, Palmerston, Darwin, is a vibrant centre, in part of bustling Darwing, a city of 140000, with a shortage of General Practitioners

Visa sponsors, will support permanent residency.
