Qualifications and Requirements

- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or higher), OR at least 5 years of full-time experience as a Chef
- Must be qualified CDP or Sous Chef Level
- Strong English communication skills for working with staff and customers
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and compliance with health regulations
- Leadership skills to train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- International experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and cook high-quality meals across a variety of cuisines
- Manage kitchen operations including stock control, ordering, and cost management
- Develop and adapt menus based on seasonal produce and customer demand
- Maintain high standards of food safety and workplace hygiene
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff to ensure consistent performance
- Ensure efficiency and smooth running of the kitchen in line with company standards
- Collaborate with management to enhance dining experiences and achieve business goals
