Graduate Accountant – Compliance & Business Services BHT Partners is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Accountant to join our friendly, supportive, and well-established accounting firm. Enjoy a variety of work (and the fresh air) in a team orientated practice in Eltham. BHT Partners is a three partner accounting practice specialising in Taxation, Business Services and Auditing. Reporting to the Directors, the Graduate Accountant role will include: - All taxation requirements including tax returns, activity statements, fringe benefits tax. - Preparation of financial statements. - Monthly and quarterly management reporting. - Auditing. As part of our team you will deal with a diverse range of clients who come from a wide variety of industries and whose service needs vary from annual compliance requirements to business monitoring and mentoring. We provide our team members with on-going mentoring, including technical & professional training, to ensure you develop excellent accounting skills as well as skills in information technology, client service, teamwork, interpersonal communication, and time management. The successful candidate will be a recently graduated accountant who intends working towards a CA or CPA qualification and is looking for an opportunity for career progression. An eagerness to learn, good presentation, an eye for detail, good communication, good organisational skills and a proactive approach are a must. You must have completed high school and a graduate degree in Australia and be legally able to work in Australia.
