The Opportunity

We are seeking Health and Security Assistants to join our hospital team – a role that blends frontline patient support with vital safety responsibilities. In this role, you’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive team, working alongside experienced staff with guidance and training every step of the way.

Day to Day Duties

- Assist nurses with lifting/moving patients and personal care

- Perform porting and cleaning duties to ensure comfortable and efficient care

- Respond to alarms/incidents to maintain a secure hospital environment

- Ensure a safe environment attending to difficult patients or visitors

What We’re Looking For

- Strong communication skills and the ability to de‑escalate difficult situations

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Understanding of cleaning and security practices

Essential: Current 1A Security Licence and Current First Aid Certificate.
