Are you a warm, reliable person who enjoys driving and connecting with others? Churches of Christ is seeking compassionate team members to support older Australians in staying socially active and connected with their community. This role is ideal for someone who loves being on the road and values meaningful one-on-one interactions.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Drive clients to medical appointments, community groups, social outings, and shopping trips using one of our modern, safe fleet vehicles.

- Offer friendly companionship and emotional support during visits and travel.

- Encourage social engagement by supporting clients to attend activities that matter to them.

- Promote independence and wellbeing through conversation, connection, and consistency.

This role services clients across Toowoomba, Warwick, Stanthorpe, Allora, Crows Nest and nearby areas.

- Be based at either our centrally located Toowoomba office or our light-filled Warwick facility – both with ample free parking.

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking individuals who:

- Are passionate about connecting people to their community.

- Hold a current driver's licence (essential).

- Enjoy driving and have a safe driving record.

- Are naturally empathetic and great at building rapport with others.

- Hold or are willing to obtain a First Aid/CPR, and a Police Check.

- Must be comfortable with driving long distances as the role may require you to transport participants from regional areas such as Crows Nest, Warwick, Toowoomba etc to appointments in Brisbane or Toowoomba.

- Have valid Australian work rights.

Experience in aged care or disability support is helpful but not essential – we value your attitude, reliability, and passion for people.
