Best Engineering Pty Ltd are currently looking for a 1st Year Apprentice Fitter and Turner to join the team. Working with qualified and skilled engineers you will gain valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support.

All ages are encouraged to apply.

Duties will involve:

- Performing engineering measurements
- Use workshop machines for basic operations
- CNC lathe and mill work
- Grinding & drilling
- Carry out mechanical cutting
- Apply principles of occupational health and safety in the work environment

The successful candidate will:

- Car and licence
- Be able to undertake manual/physical work
- Motivated with a genuine interest in the engineering industry
- Be trustworthy and reliable
- Have a high level of attention to detail
- Working in a small close-knit team who will offer support throughout your apprenticeship whist attaining a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade)
- Opportunity to develop skills and receive extensive training

The applicants must be capable to adapt to each and varying task quickly when and where required.

Suitable applicants must have a genuine interest in pursuing engineering as a career path, be motivated and willing to work hard to get trade qualified.
