You will join the Financial Management Chief Operating Office, a specialist team tasked with further developing and executing on the division's strategy and its key business priorities. Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, you will be highly influential, interacting with the Global Financial Management team, Co-Heads and Leadership teams.

What role will you play?

In this senior leadership role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Operating Officer to deliver robust financial and operational outcomes across Financial Management. Your role will be both strategic and hands‑on, offering analytical insight, operational leadership, and governance support to the COO and divisional leadership teams. Core responsibilities include:

- Take ownership of the budget planning process, ensuring it is strategically aligned with divisional goals. Deliver insightful financial analyses to empower senior leadership in making informed decisions and implementing effective cost management strategies. Monitor and report progress against financial targets to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability. Oversee the expense recovery model, clearly communicating cost drivers to business units and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

- Support People & Culture and the COO to shape workforce design, including operating model and organisational structure. Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, ensuring disciplined execution and achieving measurable results. Drive the adoption and integration of new technologies and innovative work practices across the organisation.

- Leadership and Collaboration – Foster strong cross‑functional relationships with Finance, People & Culture, and business leaders, ensuring alignment and seamless integration across the organisation. Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to a global team responsible for strategy, financial management, and operations within the COO Office. Collaborate effectively and inspire others to drive collective success and achieve organisational objectives.

- Operational Management – Support divisional business operations, overseeing management reporting, planning cycles, and operating rhythms to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. Coordinate governance deliverables to maintain compliance and organisational standards. Design and lead the coordination and facilitation of leadership onsite events, ensuring these drive strategic outcomes. Implement initiatives to simplify processes and enhance overall operational effectiveness.

What you bring

Over 10 years’ experience in financial management, business operations, or strategy execution within complex organisations, ideally in financial services or a corporate environment. Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with a proven ability to interpret financial data and deliver actionable insights. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, exercising sound judgment and integrity while managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment. Proven experience leading and managing global or cross‑location teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance. Track record in operational governance, performance management, and process improvement, driving accountability and embedding strategic priorities across teams. Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, able to build trust and drive outcomes at all levels. Adaptability and resilience, thriving in dynamic environments and effectively navigating change with critical problem‑solving skills.
