The Role
As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a Security Technician to our team. This new role is a full-time, permanent position working within our Operations Department.

In this role, you will use your broad experience and knowledge to perform the following:

1. Installing alarm, access control CCTV, IP camera surveillance systems, in addition to NVRs, network routers, switches and other hardware
2. Installing cabling, conduits and fitting off new devices
3. Programming and commissioning new systems
4. Regional works – Living Away from Home Allowance (LAFHA) provided

Role Requirements

1. Previous experience as a Security Service Technician or in a similar role
2. Completed security product training or system certifications in security solutions (such as Interlogix Tecom, Inner Range Integriti or Gallagher is desirable)
3. Technical capabilities and problem-solving skills
4. Proficient IT skills and an understanding of networks
5. Ability to work effectively unsupervised and as part of a team
6. Able to prioritise tasks effectively and deliver works within specified appropriate timeframes
7. Strong understanding of Health and Safety obligations and operational quality requirements

The following licences are essential:

1. South Australian Drivers Licence
2. South Australian Security Licence
3. ACMA Open Cabling Registration Licence
4. White Card

2. Enthusiasm and a genuine interest in your profession is essential for your ongoing development and success in our team
3. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
4. Meticulous attention to detail
