- Support ongoing professional development within the studio (site visits, lectures, CE opportunities) to inspire the design team.
What we’re looking for
- 5-8 years of relevant architectural experience; professional certification (AAA, AIBC) is an asset; LEED a plus.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong design sensibility with a hands‑on approach to conceptual development, detailing, and practical building solutions.
- Deep understanding of single‑family design with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset; ability to mentor junior staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, client‑facing skills, and the ability to adapt as projects evolve.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple offices and establish long‑term client relationships.
What you’ll get
- A vibrant, collaborative studio environment with like‑minded designers.
- Exposure to high‑caliber projects across multiple disciplines.
- A competitive salary commensurate with experience.
- Extra perks: birthday vacation day in addition to standard vacation, annual health spending account, profit‑sharing opportunity, and team retreats.
- An in‑office, full‑time role at our Victoria studio (hybrid flexibility may be discussed).
Success metrics
- Projects delivered on goal, on scope and on schedule.
- Consistent monthly billings and effective project financial management.
- Growth in technical and management capabilities.
- High client satisfaction and repeat relationships.
- Positive contributions to studio culture and process improvements.
