At Kip McGrath, we focus on what matters most – teaching. In our small-group setting, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with early learners and help them build foundational literacy skills that will shape their educational journey.

Responsibilities
- Tutoring English and math to a group of 3 to 4 students per session
- Teaching students using the Kip McGrath methodology
- Tutoring students in a positive, caring manner to promote self esteem and self worth
- Using our state of the art software to plan and conduct lessons, saving you prep time
- Using strong rapport-building skills to develop and maintain a positive relationship with students and parents
- Keeping an accurate record online of your students progress and goals on a weekly basis
- Providing verbal and written feedback to parents
Requirements
- Tertiary Qualification in Teaching or Education (or similar)
- A current Working with Children Check
- A friendly, professional and personable manner
- A love for early literacy and a warm, encouraging teaching style
- Confident using computers and online learning platforms
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Organised, reliable, and committed to student success

Hours of Work
We teach students after school on weekdays and Saturday morning. Monday – Thursday: Lesson 1 (3:45pm–4:45pm), Lesson 2 (4:55pm–5:55pm). Saturday: Lesson 1 (8:30am–9:30am), Lesson 2 (9:40am–10:40am).
