We’re looking for motivated Pharmacy Technicians to join our Slade Pharmacy team at The Wesley Hospital on a 12-month full-time contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to transition from retail into hospital pharmacy, gain unique skills and make a meaningful impact on patient care.

What You’ll Do

Hospital Pharmacy is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where precision and collaboration are key. As a Pharmacy Technician at Slade Pharmacy Wesley, you’ll work alongside Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to help maintain smooth pharmacy operations that support multidisciplinary care.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.

- Delivery of medications to hospital wards.

- Process sales transactions and assist with account queries.

- Ensure patients and nursing staff receive the correct medication.

- Provide support to patients, carers, and hospital staff

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. While hospital pharmacy experience is highly valued, it’s not essential as full training will be provided to aid your transition into this new space. However, previous experience in pharmacy dispensing is required to ensure a confident start in the role.

Eligibility Requirements

- Australian working rights, valid for the duration of the contract.

- Ability to commit to the required shifts.

- Dispensing in an Australia-based Pharmacy.

Desirable Skills & Experience

- Experience in Hospital Pharmacy.

- Certificate III/IV in pharmacy (community or hospital) or equivalent.
