We don't stand still - there are always opportunities to do more and do better.Our Pipelines Department is looking to appoint a switched on Pipelayer/Drainlayer to undertake pipe-laying duties within the sewer & water construction crews. Based in Pakenham but operating across VIC, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful team. **You'll be responsible for:*** High quality laying of sewer and water main reticulation pipes within trenches of varying depth to Water Agency requirements* Construction of property branches, services and other associated structures and assemblies* Compliance testing, connection works, other associated plant operation, confined space works, pit building, general concreting and labouring**What we need from you:*** Previous experience in the land development industry including sewer reticulation and branch sewer construction* Other pipelaying experience in drainage and water would be well regarded along with skills involving plant operation of loaders, excavators and dewatering equipment.* Confined space works, testing and maintenance experience* Relevant training and tickets - red/white card is a must* Strong commitment to safety* Excellent communication skillsThe pre-employment process will include a medical check, including drug and alcohol screening.* Take full advantage of our tailored training, leadership, and mentoring programs; or leverage our partnerships with industry association such as Engineers Australia, Chartered Accountants, CPA Australia, Infrastructure Sustainability Council, The National Association of Women in Construction, plus many more.* We will encourage you to explore flexible working arrangements where possible.
